Catching Ideas is een periodieke interviewserie met kunstenaars, creatieven en artiesten uit verschillende disciplines, waarin zij hun gedachten delen over creativiteit, inspiratie en hun relatie tot het creatieve proces.
In deze aflevering spreek ik met Julie Hrudová, een in Amsterdam gevestigde fotografe van Tsjechische origine. Julie is bekend om haar typerende, soms surrealistische straatfotografie. Ze publiceerde het boek Chasing Amsterdam, vol met foto’s die ze maakte in opdracht van Het Parool. Julie maakt deel uit van het straatfotografen collectief Burn My Eye en exposeert haar werk regelmatig in binnen- en buitenland.

Catching Ideas is a recurring video series focusing on artists from a variety of disciplines who share their thoughts on creativity, inspiration, and their relationship with the creative process.
This episode features Julie Hrudová, originally from the Czech Republic and a photographer based in Amsterdam. Julie is known for her distinctive, sometimes surreal street photography. She published the book Chasing Amsterdam, filled with photos she took on assignment for Het Parool. Julie is part of the street photographers' collective Burn My Eye and regularly exhibits her work both nationally and internationally.
